Too much fork oil

Will adding too much fork oil cause the front suspension to bee too stiff? :tickedoff:

Why are you considering this? If it's about a soft condition replace the springs. Trying to do it with fluid could blow a seal.

YES, adding beyond OE spec's will reduce the air space in the tubes.
Remember that... air compresses - fluid does not.

I had my seals replaced at the dealer and it just feels stiff.  Might just be me.

It's possible the dealer screwed up [too much] but unlikely. Give it some time and see how it feels out for you.

A couple of extra ounces [beyond spec] would make a difference [harder].

Were the seals leaking? If so, loosing just an ounce would make it softer. That could be the different feel you sense and became accustomed to.

The dealer might also have used a heavier oil, but generally a slight excess will do as DF said. And true...yours may have been low and you got used to it being a bit soft.

And....Lead to seal failure.  Make sure you don't have too much oil.
