Is this face scary?

I was riding in moderate traffic and rapidly approaching the spot at which I would need to exit I435 onto I35 South.  I was in the middle lane with a cage to my right, in the lane that I was soon going to need.  I noticed in my peripheral vision that he was tracking right along with me; no gain, no loss in position.  I was just about directly alongside the driver's door making no particular attempt to move ahead or behind the vehicle.  I glanced up at the approaching exit and then turned to look into the driver's window.  I did not snarl.  I did not smile.  I delivered neither threatening gesture nor expression of displeasure, but suddenly the lane was empty.  The cage at first fell back some fifty yards and then as I filled the hole he'd left, dropped away even further.

I'd like to tell you it's the only time that's happened, but it isn't.  Honestly, I must say it almost never, well never, occurs when I'm driving the little Mazda pickup.

So, what's the story?  Does this face look scary to you?

Joe Hummer

I don't believe it is the face (although rightfully scary in its own right) that caused the motorist to alter position quickly...it was a sudden realization that Dragons are indeed real...and alive...and the driver of said vehicle was either not equipped to handle the slaying of said Dragon or wanted to be eaten by the Dragon.

Either that or they are a regular on the road and have noticed you before because of your unique steed and decided to give you a bit of a wider berth so to not cause you any issues.

I can't help about the shape I'm in
I can't sing, I ain't pretty and my legs are thin
But don't ask me what I think of you
I might not give the answer that you want me to

To complete the scary face look you need to do your lips.
Put some foundation blend on your lips then line your lips with the black eye liner pencil.

Have fun with your scary face.   :2funny:
The question is not what you look at...but what you see...

Maybe they are camera shy and for some unknown reason (ah hemm...) think the OCC filming crew will be right behind you with the cameras running and don't wish to be filmed?

JimL

Damn scary!

I suspect they thought they were about to become an unwitting participant in an episode of "OCC Choppers".....and that they were about to receive a foul mouthed, tongue lashing from Paul Sr. for hindering his access to the off ramp.   Of course....another possibility is that maybe he was just being a nice guy!

JimL

I guess we can count out nice guy...seems 2 other people had the OCC thought also!!

I think they realized you MUST be in a hurry to get hame and acces your Turbo Nose Hair Trimmers.  :2funny:

I'm confident your always getting passed in the Mazda.

Willow, I think some cage drivers are actually decent and may read minds and this one knew you were looking for his space.... he was obviously watching you and the bike; tracking beside you for a while.

I've been accused of scaring children and small animals before myself.

I'm with Highbinder on this one  :2funny: but with that said when your on the road you instinctively know what people are going to do or want to do while driving. Coupled with your mustache it makes a strong statement. Like in life you dont mince your words so you dont mince your intentions and in some cases those intentions can be easily read even without words.

Of course, the front of your helmet reminded me of Wild Hogs when they go through the Grasshopper swarm.  Shame that the handle of DDT (The Bug Killer) is already taken.  :2funny: :2funny: :2funny:

It is the Paul Senior Look there Willow.

But it could be more than that.

Did you have your pants on under your Chaps.

When I forget that, people get out of my way.

Just saying.
