I did the same thing with the same horns, only they were chromed, a few years ago, and have been very happy with it...

Those have got to be very loud for the rider placed so close but it does look like a good mount.

Those appear to be a Fiamm Auto Horn replacement (probably high/low note setup). You can find them at any automotive store.

After a long blow of those horns...Numbnuts will not be referring to the person you are blowing the horn at...but yourself.

Having had 'em on my bike in that position for a few years now, I can say, it's really not as loud as you'd think from the rider's position... It's noticeable, by all means, but not painful for the rider, and they do tend to get attention of the wandering cage operator on their precious cell phone...

Joe nailed the type and purchase location, and Serk is right about them not being painful. In fact I decided they weren't painful enough and added two additional horns under the swing arm.

Thanks for this thread and photo's for I'm just mounting a Stebel Air Horn on my 'Valk' and was trying to figure out how to mount it under the tank next to the petcock.
