GL1800 adjustable levers / modification

Hi All,
        Can any that has done this.. confirm that by taking the tab off the ADJUSTABLE clutch lever on the Kuryakyn GL1800 lever . . That You can then fit both adjustable 1800 levers onto the Valkyrie.. i ask this because i can get my hands on some Kuryakyn ones....recall

Looks like it is just cutting off the tab on the clutch side.  The link gives links to the parts to use.

I did it
just cut the tab (dremel works great)
use a little good grease on the bushing (not Crisco)

I did that just this year... found a set of nice chrome BBP levers for a GL1800 for cheap.... and I love em.  Just cut off the tab and grease the moving parts all up.

Contrary to those on this board who hold the absolutely false opinion that black Valks are the fastest, it is actually true that the ivory cream/yellow ones are!
