Okay I think I have had a blow out with my 412's.  All the sudden my rear end got very soft. ( no puns please) I may try to send them in for a rebuild but I may need to upgrade.

Which is better for the Valk,  416s or 430?

I kinda like the idea of the air shocks but the 430's are more expensive so does that mean they are better.?

Does any one have experience with these.

Opinions Please?

I hear ya on the 412's. >:(
LH 412 on my Tourer sprang a leak just after the warranty was up. Replaced them with a nice used set of Interstate shocks.  :cooldude:
Kinda ruined my opinion of aftermarket shocks.

Love 'em!  8)

I have the 440 HDs on my IS and think they're great. I can leave them at their softest setting while riding solo and have no bottoming out.
When in doubt, ride.

I've had the 412's for many years and never a problem except for surface rust on the springs. I pointed the rust out to the Progressive rep while at their tent during bike week many moons ago. He swapped them out for free while I watched. They were well out of warranty. No complaints here
