HD Airshocks for a Valk

Hi

I want to install airshocks from HD Roadking on my Valk. Will they fit or would you need to do some major mods? (bushings, spacers etc)

If anybody had done it, please let me know it works

I gave them a try on my Interstate last year. Bought a set of Harley takeoffs brand new showa air shocks on Ebay. Modified bushing ends at  a buddies machine shop.

Spoke with Harley head mechanic was told 2 up he would run no more than 25lbs. At 25lbs the shocks constantly bottomed out. After trying increased pressures finally set at 75lbs psi. Rode real nice for a while and I liked them but they started to leak fluid and finally air pressure would not hold. So I took them off went back to stock shocks and Gary's bushings.

If you look at the Road Kings the air shock is almost vertical and on our valks the shocks ride at at angle. The angle is what, I think, did in the air  Showa air shocks.
