Super Santa

The mythical, mystical, magical Valkyrie, a steed of unknown qualities..  We ride the best and sometimes we just find some happenings hard to explain to mere mortals.  If you have got it, and you know it, it is not always necessary to flaunt it.

I have no argument with those who argue that their bike is the best, or the fastest or the loudest, or can do wheelies, or burnouts.  Sometimes it is cool just knowing you have it all, without having to prove it.

It was a delightful morning when we left Inzane X.  It was overcast and a light rain was falling, just enough to wet the windshield and the roads.  I was leading with Gear Jammer bringing up the rear.

Shortly after our departure from the environs of Shanty Creek Village near Bellaire, Michigan, the infamous Dragon, Daniel Meyer came up behind us, also headed back to the great State of Texas.

As soon as we got past the short sections with stop signs and the curves, Daniel took advantage of the straight-aways and passed us, smiling and waving as he always does to fellow riders of the Valkyrie.

About 10 minutes later we were headed southbound on US-131 when I see motorcycle headlights coming up behind us.

This fearless rider proceeds to pass us and has a quizzical look in his eyes, but he still gives us that smile and wave that is characteristic of Daniel Meyer, but that look in his eyes was Priceless.

(I can just imagine him pondering all the way back to Texas: How did they do that?  I didn't see them pass me.)

Ahh, yes, If you have got it, and you know it, it is not always necessary to flaunt it.

Doubtful.  Truthfully, we probably made more stops than he did.

Daniel Meyer

I just mumbled something about "Warp drive" and went on! :D

I'm guessing a shortcut...my eyes are getting old and not reading the maps so well...some of those little-bitty roads don't show up any more.

Working on that...
CUAgain,
