We had a fellow at work that was stung by a wasp and had an allergic reaction. He was treated at a local emergency room as a result of the severity of his reaction.

The comedy was in the company's response:
Safety bulletin:

This week we had and incident with a worker being attacked by a wasp, as a result, we are offering the following guidelines for when you are faced with an insect attack.

"Run away as fast as you can!"

To add to the humor of this notice, the man that was attacked was working on top of a grain silo...

I think our safety director's job is safe, don't you!

That is funny...

Had one of my riding buddies get stung between his fingerless gloves and and the webbing of his fingers...his hand swelled and we got the stinger out and some ice on it, the bee was still in his glove...

The stinger is fine, the bee died!  :2funny: :2funny: :2funny:

Jabba

I had a yellow-jacket land on my sons chest a couple weeks ago... it resulted in ME getting bit by a dog.

>:( :tickedoff: :-\ :'(

Back in the '60s, we had a friend that had a known allergy to stings.  She was stung working in her flower bed and died before they could get her to an emergency room.  Bad stuff!
