Any body going to Deals Gap?

  For the first time in many a year, My wife and I are taking an actual, honest to God, away from home, va-ca-tion!  Heading down south to ride the Tail of the Dragon and all the other good roads the south has to offer up.
  We were wondering who else in the group might be heading to the same area towards the end of August that we might be able to hook up with.  Failing that, does anybody have any suggestions regarding those "cant miss" roads, sights, attractions or road houses that we cant pass up?

Northeast TN....gotta do the Snake 421 from Mountain City towards Bristol.
19W from Erwin Tn to Burnsville NC is great if you're in the area...don't know
if it's worth a special trip. Just about any road in east TN-western NC is good.
Post zackly when you're going to be around. Surely somebody will be able to
meet up with you somewhere!!

There are four or five of us from northeast OH (Valks, Wings, ST) that will be doing the Parkway and Deals Gap over Labor Day weekend, leaving here Thursday and heading home Monday. If interested in hooking up, I'll put you in touch with Rick, who is in charge of the plans/ride.
