I was at a SAR meeting last night, and informed everyone I would not be at the meeting next week due to being at sturgis..
Well one of my friends that rides a Harley tried getting a jab in. "How are you going to get your Honda into town"  meaning I would not be let in if I didn't ride a Harley.
I just replied "well I will ride it into town while you Harley guys push yours, or trailer them" LMAO He didn't have a come back after that. :)  all he could say was "I guess you do get to save room not having to pack extra Harley oil on that thing"

It was all in good spirit... We are always jabbing back and forth.

Has he been to Sturgis??? There are as many brands as their are bikers. I'm sure there are still areas to avoid with the 1 and 2 percenters though.
Dress for the slide, not the ride. ATGATT

2 percenters?  Are they the ones with a "Got Milk?" patch?!

LMFAO,

¿spoom

naw, 2% are the ones who think about it for a second before killing you ;)
Seriously though, Sturgis is so "civilized" now that the guy's comment made no sense at all. The last times I went was '99 and '97. The only time my Honda raised any eyebrows was '97, because so many folks hadn't seen a Valk in person yet. You are liable to get more verbal crap and vandalism parked outside the local watering hole in any small town than at downtown Sturgis.
