I'm installing an IS main wiring harness on my '98 STD to add the IS fairing, trunk and radio. I have it in place but wanting to confirm some of my routes before I close everything up.

I was wondering if anyone has any pictures of the top of the radio with seat removed. The radio connectors off the main harness I have coming in on top the radio from the front. I'm not sure after you connect the radio if you push the connectors forward in under where the seat key lock is. I wasn't sure how much wiring might sit on top the radio or to the side. I didn't want to pinch anything with the seat on. I did use the the IS battery box so I had all the relay hangers.

It would be helpful if I had a picture of the fuse box area and a bonus would be on the other side behind the coolant tank but that would be wishful.

all of my wiring coming out of the back of the radio are pushed up into the space under the seat latch. the anntena wire goes around the right side of the radio and along the frame rail..

Sorry no pictures here at work. All the plug in accessories (Antenna, CD Player, Aux Plug, speaker connections, Etc) swing to the right under the right side cover with the exception of the CB Connector, I have it next to the radio on the right, had to route it this way for the Honda CB under the trunk. No wiring to the left of the battery box except the ICM that I know of.
Good Luck

When you need access to the battery. Do you have to disconnect radio or flip it up and you need hold it till battery cover is off?

I just flip up the radio and rest it on my tank bib to get the battery box cover off.
