Memorial Day Weekend

I was just wondering, where everyone is planning to ride to this coming Memorial Day weekend. I am riding out Friday morning with Mud Dog aka Tom Zieman, to Tucumcari for the 2nd annual Tucumcari BBQ. Anyone else going?  ??? I am also planning on a route that will get all 5 of the towns in the panhandle area for the Everywhere in Texas project. I plan to pickup Rock Creek, Plainview, New Deal and, Spring Lake on Friday. I will get Amarillo on the way  home Monday. Maybe on the way home, I will have some additional Valks to be in the picture.  Anyone else going to Tucumcari? Where ever you ride, be safe, and we'll see you at the next monthly VRCC meeting. I highly recommend the bucket of shrimp....Yum

Hard 6 called me and wants to ride to Tucumcari with me on Saturday morning. He's gonna ride up from Lake Charles, LA. on Friday and stay the night in the Metroplex.  So if anyone wants to ride with us on Saturday morning, let me know. I still don't have a place to stay, but I'll figure that out when I get there. Looks like we will be leaving around 7AM.

Just came through there a couple of weeks ago on a Route 66 ride with a group of fellow retired Phoenix Police Motor Officers. Awesome ride.
