Hey EVERYONE !! Well, both my sons did a SaddleSore 1000 on their way home to California from here in Broomfield, CO. They left here around 4:30 AM on August 14th & arrived home around Midnight the same day. I guess it was pretty cold at Vail Pass so they waited in a restaurant & had coffee for about 45 minutes till it warmed up some. Neither of their Harleys have windsheilds & they did not wear helmets in Colorado. Not me boy... I have to have a windsheild & a FULL FACE helmet. Different strokes, eh? Anyway, they had a great time in Sturgis...saw ZZ TOP too. Well, I hope all of you have a nice evening & ALWAYS ride safe. tommy t IBA 1990

Congrats to them! I am totally jealous of their opportunity to take a ride like that. I take back my "truck & trailer" wisecrack from a while back. :-[   ;D
We got to see ZZ Top back in May after a Tampa Bay Rays game in St. Pete & they are totally awesome! They were on my bucket list of bands to see before I croak or they do. We took our 19 y.o. son with us to see them & he was impressed as well with their simple 3 chord blues based Rock & Roll.
They just don't make 'em like that anymore.  :cooldude:

AC/DC is the only band left on my list. I missed Ronnie James Dio.... R.I.P. :'(

BTW, when you gonna get them boys on a Valk??? ;D :2funny:
