it would help if we knew where you were broke down,
that way someone close may be able to help you out with parts.
I have parts but it would be faster to wait for the honda shop if you are in California.

The 1500 wing U joint is the same as the valkyrie. Part #s are different but the joints are the same. I used a wing joint to repair a friend's valk 2 years ago. He just got back from Sturgis with no issues.

  Tried hdl they dont have yoke joint,for either gold wing or valkrie same part numbers back orded from JAPAN BY MY LOCAL DEALER GOING CALL SOME MOORE DEALERS.THANKS JOHN

FY.  I was calling around my area for a rear drive oil seal and the Dealer in Lima, Ohio did not have one but checked the Honda Dealer network and found them and several dealers.  Maybe your dealer would do the same and check for a U-Joint for you.  By the way I ordered one during the HDL 4th of July sale and it is still on back order.  According to HDL it is due anytime now.

I am pretty sure there is only one year.....and I think its '98 that the 1500 wing used the Valk drive shaft and u-joint.  If you happened to get that right year to have a match without knowing, well you were blessed.  My info comes from a long time wing ownder that had that year of 15oo wing, when his went out he found out abou tthe match there.  Be careful out there
