This was in the Maxim Honda email I received today announcing their demo days / sales tax holiday event this Saturday 21 August.  (with 2 minor edits)

On Saturday, September 11, 2010, hundreds of bikers -- including families, friends and supporters who are impacted by autism - will fill the streets in a parade of leather and chrome as they ride to raise much-needed funds for autism research and awareness at the 2010 Red River Ride. There will be two rides, Saturday, September 11. One starting from Harley-Davidson World, Oklahoma City, OK and the second originating at Maxim Honda in Allen, TX. The riders will meet at Choctaw Casino, Durant, OK. All proceeds benefit Autism Speaks, the nation's leading autism advocacy. Plan to join us for this worthy event.

Sounds like a great reason to ride.  I'm going to be riding in Alabama, but I'll contribute through someone who is going to ride.
