Just wanted to give a shout out and thank Joe, Lucky 13 (Gordon), and Joe's friend Jack for showing me a great time draggin' pegs through Tennessee and Kentucky.

I want to give a specail thank you to Paul Mull and his wife Margie for putting me up....er.....putting up with me Friday and Saturday night.  Their hospiality was heartwarming.  Again, thanks.

One detail Joe forgot to mention was that all during the ride I was losing my hair to the chemo.  It was kind of funny as everytime we would stop and I would take off my helmet the hair would stay in it.  By Saturday night when I pulled into Paul's garage I looked like Bozo the friggin' clown with no hair on top but clumps
on the sides that I could pull out.  Paul told me that he used to cut his son's hair and had a shaver so he sat me in a chair and made me bald.....

Oh well, the hits just keep on comin'!

This was a magical weekend at just the right time with just the right people.

Thanks for everything.

Being relatively new around here, I keep hearing that there are some really good people in this family. I just want to say that every day more that I visit this board, I realize more just how good some of you guys are toward each other, and how willing you are to drop anything to help another.

If the rest of the USA were like the folks on this board, we surely would not be in all of the s**t that we are in. You guys make me proud to be associated with you.

Thanks for letting me know that there are still plenty of good folks out there.  :)
The key thing is to wake up breathing! All the rest can be fixed. (Except Stupid - You can't fix that)
