Get your picture on the Internet somehow, Picasa, Flickr, it doesn't matter.

Put the URL of your picture into a post - I always cut and paste the URL, otherwise I'd post mostly
typos   ...

Highlight the URL.

When you're making a post here, you can see a bunch of icons above where you're typing in your post, the smiley faces,
and above them, some others... hover over them, and their descriptions will print out.

When your URL is highlighted, clicking on the icon labeled "insert image" will put some little markup twinkies around
your URL.

Mash "post". People who view your post will see your picture...

Pardon me... I'm a newbie and was curious about forward pegs???  I want to mount a pair of Kuryakyns for highway pegs.  I am looking to mount them on the lower bars that connect to the crash bars and lie just below the valve covers.  I can't decide what size these bars are.  I had thought the crashbars were 1 1/4" and the lower bars were 1 1/8", but if I measure them, they only look like they are 1" od.  Any advice on this?  I'm afraid the problem may lie with the loose screw handling the measuring tape...

Kuryakyn 4050 with the six inch arm, clamped to the curve in the bar you are referring to... Awesome! YMMV...

That other weird looking stuff is forward controls from Big Bike Things...

The diameter of the bar is 1".  Kuryakyn 4050, 7976, or 7980 will fit this bar.

Thank you for the information.  I thought it was 1" but the confirmation helps.  It's nice to know I can still read a tape measure... particularly since I do a lot of carpentry.

I was worried about only using the product numbers since I thought they are available with varying sizes of quick clamps.

I can't wait to get some and install them.  I have a 36" inseam.  I've gotten comfortable with my floorboards  but on trips anywhere except the corner market, I start cramping up and need to stretch out.

If you move the 4050s in the picture back a bit, just past the bend, it will put the arms at an angle. That way you can lower the arms to just above horizontal and get less lift but more leg extention. Your own legs that is.
