Hillarious. The Canada Auto Trader refused my bike listing just now. It's my other Valk, the Tourer. I listed it for $6400. This was the response:

Dear AutoTrader.ca Seller

We are committed to providing a quality experience for both buyers and sellers by ensuring that all ads are in-line with our editorial policies. After reviewing your ad, we have found it does not meet these requirements. Thus, your ad has been removed from AutoTrader.ca based on the editor's comments below.

Comment from editor: Suspected fraud - wrong price. Price to low

Idiots are obviously not familiar with our bikes. :uglystupid2: And poor spellers, to boot (to low? TOO low?)

Walküre

They're right!!  :cooldude: :cooldude:

Actually, if you aren't aware, there was a scam recently on Craigslist all around the country, and just about any other place that listed motorcycles, for a very nice Valk Tourer, for something like $2,300. I even wrote the guy, based on an ad in Indianapolis, and got a reply. There were a LOT of complaints, and they were taken down, anywhere they were seen. Wanted to use an "escrow service" for payment, and the escrow was bogus, just a rip-off.

It's possible that the fact that it was a Valkyrie sent up flags, and that's the reason...

Yeah, what she said...

That's a real low price for any tourer in Canada.  They probably just take an average price for Valkyrie and don't know there are sub-models.  Most IS list for 9K+ and the editor sees hardbags and such a low price and thinks scammer like Walk said.

If you still want to list it, you can go to an auto trader local site and they can confirm you and the bike exist.  Your phone will then be ringing off the hook  :cooldude:

I know, seen them all over CL etc.. But really: 6400? Far cry from 2-3 grand. :crazy2:
