I called this morning to get my reservation in.  The hotel was full and 4 cottages were left.  I got one.  It has 3 bedrooms.  If anyone wants to bunk up with me let me know.  I got the cottage for the nights of the 15th and 16th.

I am chomping at the bit, cant wait to ride, just hope the weather holds out. Duffy's picture of last year did not look like it was so much fun.
We are crusing the BRP all the way down to Robbinsville when we go, I am hoping for good weather. :cooldude: :cooldude:

I think the weather will be warmer than last year,  :-\ but you never know.  :coolsmiley:

Keep in mind this picture was up on the Cherohala Skyway, which is always 10 to 20 degrees cooler than the roads below.  ;)


Here is a pic from the Fall Color Ride in 2006 near the top of the Blue Ridge Parkway - no snow in sight! :)


Regardless of the weather, Joe's FCR is the bomb!  8)

Personally I hope it's cold enough to freeze the balls off a pool table....But DRY!! Last year we had it all...RAIN...SLEET...SNOW.

Remember preparation is the key to success....Be prepared for any and all of it including warm 70* temps.  :cooldude: ;D

We're looking forward to it. Lot's of folks will be there that we haven't seen in a while.
FCR is one of the best rides of the year.

It's always a pleasure having y'all ride up to join us Rick  :cooldude:  I'm looking forward to The Fall Color Ride and I have no doubt folk's are going to love the ride this year...Fingers crossed for nice fall temps and most important dry roads  :cooldude:  See you then my friend  :)

Hoping to see this couple there with a new VALK !!!!!

Going to be hard to replace and come close to being as nice as the one he had.

It's in the works Rick I'm hoping he finds one by then as well if not I've offered to let him ride my Interstate.

Yeah I'm going to check that out with my insurance company to make sure it covers with him on it however as stated I'm hoping he finds a replacement by mid Oct.
