Valk rear fender on a VTX 1300???

Can it be done?  Is the seat mount the same?  How much, if any modification is required?  I have a friend who rides a VTX 1300 Retro and he HATES the rear fender.  Wants to put a Valk rear fender on it, so I am asking the experts.  Thanks, Stan
