Replaced intake o ring

2000 I/S; replaced number 6 intake 0 ring with info I found on the board from Advance Auto, pretty painless R&R. Had occaisonal yellow residew on the head near the intake. (I plan to order 6 fuel resistant vitons in the near future). What was remarkable was the fact that ALL the upper and lower clamps were not tight. So all 12 clamps got taken care of. Whats odd is I think I have tightened all of these once before. O'well.

I check mine a couple of times each season. Had a friend that carried a bottle of nail polish in his 650 Triumph. Those twins did vibrate screws loose. Just a spot behind the nuts kept them in place.
Yes that was a long time ago.

Use to do the same on a Norton 850 Command, ride a 100 and tighten eveything up, what a pain but I wish I still had her. She sure was pretty and sounded great. Funny bikes aren't like ex's, I seem to always wish I had kept the bikes and I certianly don't feel that way about the ex's.
