My daughter is coming of age for her first ride. But she is short and cannot reach the rear pegs due to the wide seat and leg position. I would like to raise them with some type of adjustable peg that I can re-adjust for the wife. Has anybody done this? Suggestions please!

A good solution for you would be Rivco passenger floorboards, although it appears that they aren't currently available at Rivco at this time. Rivco has periodic limited production runs for Valk boards. You could contact them and ask about a run for Valks. Otherwise, shop at some online suppliers or post a wanted add in the classifieds. You may find a set. Unfortunately you can't have mine.  ;)

I mounted a set of these minus the clamps. I used the clamp covers and stacked some washers behind them to fill in the  void. I then used some large iso pegs to complete the setup. I used them to move the pegs forward and down to give the wife more leg room but if you rotate them up for your  daughter they might work. All total about $150 investment.http://www.kuryakyn.com/index.cfm/go/Home.ProductDetail/catID/10/scID/17/IMID/495

Wow, that's a great idea.  Do you have any photos of the completed setup?

Another option for you: Kury Transformer Boards.
Follow this link to a recent thread on the General board. Scroll down for a list of all parts required.

Yes you will have to drill the hole out to 1/2 but by using the clamp covers you'll keep the notched ajustment part. The clamp covers have about 3/8 gap behind them I got some washers to stack in the void (you can't see them at all) so I could keep the clamp covers plus they moved the mounts out alittle which  was good cuase wife  has long legs and evey bit of adjusment was needed. I for the life of me can't get a photo to work.  If you need to talk send me a PM and I'll give you my number.

GrizHead on the VOAI board modified his oem passenger pegs so they were higher up. I don't remember exactly what he did, but it was a simple, effective way that he did it.
When in doubt, ride.
