New Clutch fix --- first time I ever saw this?

Bike was having symptoms like:
Hard time finding neutral
Clutch lever got hard just before full  dis-engagement.

Solution:
The brass bush was missing in the lever, the master cylinder rod was against the rear of the hole in the lever. It had been this way for awhile, it had wore a small groove in the lever.

So someone removed 3 parts, lost 1 and reassembled with 2.  (NOT ME)
Some folks should not have access to wrenches or at least should have there wrench privileges revoked.

So if you are having clutch/lever issues  --- check the obvious.

You didn't look this is only one of the more recent posts on the issue Valkpilot knows his stuff too and finally gave in and replaced the clutch. ;D There isn't to much that hasn't already been covered, never hurts to restate it but if most would just search their topic in either the new or old tech talk it all would be there.

You're absoultely right that one should check the easy and obvious first.

I'm glad that's all it took to fix yours.   :cooldude:

Yes Robert I had read that post, and was aware of his fixes, this was not related to that.
FYI a search of clutch bush missing  --- found NO results.
Just a post of something different that I had not seen before.

Missing bushing was one of the many problems we found when my son bought his valk. The levers had been replaced and the bushing was left out then I imagine.

I suspect that the same happened here --- since the bike had chrome levers  --- might have even been the same person (ha ha ha) :cooldude:
