Some one please remind me tomorrow morning that it is me & my bride's anniversary..........

All I can remember about it, is it was chilly, and after I said I DO, it got chillier.  During the ceremony it was 39, after the sun went down, so did the temperature.   We had a California car, NO heater.......   Had one before we went back however.   It was an aftermarket, but it did put out some heat......

She has been ONE 4377 of a good women.........

Love ya mom, no I won't tell them how many years as that way they can figure out your age.....     LOL............    I know it is a BIG SECRET......... & I do know ya won't hit 60+ again.

I'll try to remember to keep you out of the doghouse RJ.   Very important date.

Mine was Nov 5th, 1955, chilly that day too.  "Back to the Future" date.

We made it to our 46th.  If she were alive, this November would've been 55 years.  Oh well.

There was an anniversary present, 2 months ago when she totaled her car out.
This is what she wanted, she just got it early.

It is called a 2010 Toyota Highlander Limited, and loaded to the hilt, only thing lacking is the memory driver's seat....   Here it is.



Here is what she totaled out.



Door post is buried in there almost 7", buckled the floor board and the dash.   Side bags did not go off.   She tangled with a 3/4 T  Ford Cargo Van that run a stop sign.    She was running about 30 and the van, 2nd unit back on stop sign, thought she had a stop sign also and took off.    Bingo.......     Company vehicle, insured by Progressive, employee hadn't been approved to drive the unit yet, but Progressive paid off all bills so far.   We are working on the pain and agony now.  It was their idea, so we went along.

We got a big day planned.

At our age a good day is when ya has a movement.

Yeah, that kind.

I have an 8:45 eye Dr appt.
Mom has a 10:30 Dr appt.
Then we are going to do breakfast at the Machine Shed.
I have Therapy at 1:00
After that, if I can catch mom, she said I could score.
Oh, that's at the granddaughters soccer makeup game...

WOW MOM, Blonde doing cart wheels, just what I've been wanting to do, NOT.

Take that G'Daughter home with us, and on the way pick the younger sister up at Day Care.

Tomorrow morning, get them both around, and off to school and to Day Care.

Mommy & daddy should be home by pickup time from a work conference in Mpls.

So, we will have a very UNeventful day today......

Thanks for all the reminders.   Needed those........    LOL.

Kind of hard to forget this many years....

But, it has been fun...................

She gave me the happiest years of my life, bar none.

If it hadn't of been for her, I wouldn't of had any grandkids.....  well, that is not quite true, she helped on the last 8.     Debbie gave me 4, and Red, 4 step grandkids, but don't tell Debbie I said that or I'll be dead meat.    In Debbie's mind, Red is her real mother......    Her real mother was already buried when she came out of the hospital.  She was 3 weeks early and her mom died in child birth.   Yeah, I know it was basically unheard of 56 years ago.   So her other grandmother raised her for me for a few years.......  Deb was in Iowa, and I was in California.  Yep, you got it, I did a lot of airline time for a couple of years.   BUT, she knew who her daddy was, she knew him by sight......

So shut up, not too many people know this part of my life.....
