Audiovox 1316 Electronic Cruise Control on 99 I/S

I'm new to the forum and was hoping that I might get some help on cruise. I've been unable to acquire an Audiovox CCS 100 as they seem to have been discontinued (do see on ebay some but not into bidding). Will the 1316 work properly on an I/S? The MC Cruise is pretty spendy!

I installed the Audiovox on my 99 I/S 3 years ago and it works just great! Never had a single problem with it. I heard too that they were discontinued and its bad news, cause I don't think I could live without it! Hope mine won't let go! (knock on wood)

I put the spendy one, MC Cruise, on MGM in the winter of 97.

MGM now has 242,000+ change for miles and still holds at -1 to +1 from original set speed.   Tap brake it goes off, hit resume it goes back up at a nice pace.

Every thing on this Cruise Control is plug and play.  Ya don't have to screw around finding the correct wire.    When it is installed, it is a clean, out of sight installation.   The only hard thing was figuring out how the cables were to be run in the circular turn stile for the throttle cables.     Got it figured out and everything just fell into place.

If I bought another Valk, I'd still go for the MC Cruise unit.......     Well worth the $$$$ to me.
