Unfortunately, it looks like I just lost it. 

Man, I had been working on some routes that I hoped to be able to share with Des and Kendall on the way over, places to eat and things to see - and that was just getting there!!!

I know it is going to be one helluva hoot at the Romp and let's just say that I am MAJOR BUMMED!!!

But, I just got a change in job title and duties - lots more stress and responsibility and the same money (of course).  But I guess the main thing is that it is still money - get to keep kibbles and bits on the table for Mamma and the critters.

Still not written in stone yet, but I have a new "back to back" replacement and he doesn't even have a visa for Angola yet, so the chance of me getting out of here like I was suppose to next week are kind of slim and none.

Man, I was looking forward to the ROMP - I know everyone is going to pass a large, large time yeah!!!!!!

Eat a mud bug for me!  There is still hope that I can make it, but it's slim.

(I'd thow some chicken bones too, if I knew how to do any that hoo-doo stuff). Man, this is sad... On the other hand, everything just might work out after all, and we can all have a good laugh over our anxiety...

No kidding, man, you are most definitely an 'impact player' in the Valk game, and you will be sorely missed if it don't work out. Do I need to maybe write a note to your boss?

Where is the VooDoo Doll?  I need to stick a couple pins in your replacement in hopes of expediting his visa and getting you over here!  Big bummer!  Wetpaint & I will keep the torches burning in the swamp for you & try to show the riders a good time.  I'll post pictures all weekend on my facebook page so you can feel like your here!
