I don't understand why people have to mess with a perfectly good bike.

Some people have the HEART to ride... but not he body or the skills.

My brother had polio when he was a kid.  He's never been able to ride a MC.  He's never been able to afford a trike.  But he would have REALLY liked it.

I've had to modify my Valk due to Spinal Chord/Nueromuscular issues.
I'm not ready to go for a trike yet. It least I believe that I can still operate on two wheels, however I will admit it has been a challenge.
I crashed in July 09 breaking my clavicle.
I crashed in Bike Week this year (very minor damage) and then in May of this year I had to have emergency surgery to reduce the onset of more spinal chord damage. Since August I've had two more minor crashes, but I'm just a stubborn old biker (it really worries the wife).

Sometimes being hardheaded is not the best policy, but that's me.

Caase it looks like a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuge mistake.  Imagine how much weight there is on the front end trying to go straight when you want to go to the left or right.

He's from MN and did the same thing to a wrecked ST1100. He has some skill, that's for sure. Check out the build on his site.

Just an FYI - the company is IDO-EndeavorLLC and the two last builds have become award winning creations.

Best invention of 2014 by the MIC (Minnesota invention council)
First place gold medal for engineering by INPEX in Pittsburgh (Innovation and new product expo)
I beat 21 countries and three MIT caliber colleges.

The Design holds several patents, trademarks and copyrights and is hopefully to venture to market by next summer.
So far over 80,000 miles in R&D and we just got back from a 3000 mile trip to NC to ride the dragon and several others. Handling was great and the test was a real success.

www.ido-endeavor.com - a true sport trike like the CanAm only you use your favorite ride.

Re:  the 5-wheeled Valk, I would think it could change direction very quickly with all that rubber on the road.  It probably feels very surefooted on wet roads, but the spray off the front wheels would be pretty bad.

Keep in mind this kit is intended to be totally customizable so if you don't like the current look you will have hundreds of other body styles to pick from. I plan on going open source on body panels so the look can be one of your choosing.

I wish I had been able to have you trike my Valk, but it seems the hospital wants it's bills paid, so I settled for this.  Hoser
