Interstate Radiator Pods on a Tourer

Has anyone ever mounted a set of Insterstate radiator Pods on a tourer?  If so I would love to know both the result and the difficulty - what is needed?

You'll need crash bars from an Interstate or weld brackets on for the pods to attach to. Otherwise it shoudn't be too hard of a job. Take a look at the IS parts fiche to get an idea of the differences between the crash bars.

'98 Tourer, with I/S pods added along with a HD fairing. The pods will need the engine guards mentioned, plus a separate bracket that bolts to the side of the downtube where the horn is...one on each side. And, also a bracket mounted on the side of the radiator which means you either have to get an I/S radiator or fab something to hold those brackets in place. Lastly, there is a different piece that goes behind the fan...the black plastic baffle is different on the I/S. And to top it off, after doing it my bike now runs hotter, but looks nice. Your choice but if I had to do it over, I wouldn't.
