Have removed the right shock also removed the washer's .. sent pic's to Daryl.. awaiting reply.. as I also had to remove my grab rails for the centre stand.. so I'm not a hundred percent sure what the fitting's looked like for the shock's.. don't want to put any old thing on there and end up with the same problem.. any of you got the work shocks on the rear with the grab rails a pic would be nice.. so at the moment the bike is just sitting in the garage.. Daryl wants me to sort out the shocks first and the I will have a look at the front end.. will keep you all posted. recall

Hi,
Daryl has sent me a load of pictures of the works shock on and off the bike and he sent me all the fitting instructions as well.. you know what they say, a picture speaks a thousand words.. after a bit of cogitation.. I set to it..no wonder it was stiff to steer my mechanic (Wxxker) must have put about 5 washers on the top of the right shock & 1 cooper one on the bottom.. these have been removed and the shocks have been set up and fitted as they should be.. (As I understand it). I then took her for a little test drive round my estate as there are a lot of bends & turns.. the steering felt a bit light on the front end.. but all the stiffness from the rear had gone.. just need to go on a short run 50 miles or so , just for peace of mind.. I would just like to say thanks to all that assisted me in my time of need..recall :cooldude:
