Ok let me see if I can explain this, I recently heard what I would describe as a faint metal rattle coming from the area behind the radiator. I have not located the source, but after a ride today I got the flashlight and looking in between the carbs, toward the front of the engine I spotted a drip of radiator fluid. Just one small drop but with time I'm sure would get larger. My question can anyone give me a clue as to where or what may have cause the drip.

at the thermostat housing, where the hose attaches to the housing.  I understand that if you can move the radiator out a little, it gives you more room to get to the clamp.  No personal experience with this, just read it on the boards several times.

I have read about the upper radiator hose clamp just needs to be tightened a bit, as far as the noise you are hearing, check this.

Thanks for the help the hose clamp was loose and the noise was coming from the radiator mounts which were loose, ready to ride.
