The Tech Board Rocks!

Thanks to Thunderbolt and several others that have helped me get to the route of my electrical failure. It turns out to be the "Main Fuse"....  Sounds simple, right? 

And next time it will be.

the question is, what caused the main fuse to blow?  fuses don't get weak with age, something has to make it melt.

I agree Alph. When searcing for the original problem, I did find an exposed wire under the right side cover. I did not determine what it was for, but I did fix it... I am thinking that it may have touched against the frame or other metal and caused a short, but not sure at all.

sounds good!.....  i always hate it when i fix something, and not know exactly what i changed!!  i do it at work A LOT!  always question if it's going to happen again, but then i have a good idea what to check first.
