Who makes the guard/bar that mounts in front of the cylinder head cover?

I know I've seen them somewhere before, but my rememberer is on the fritz again.  They look kinda like a big U mounted sideways in front of the cylinder head as a sorta crash guard/bar for the cylinder head. 

However, I'm thinking they'd work like a charm preventing leg burn from the cylinder head.  Anyone know who makes them....maybe a site link?

Judging by your description, the Valk came from the factory with that engine guard already in place.  Other than that, I can't imagine what you're referring to, your description fits the OEM engine guard perfectly.

I believe carried those. They looked like the bars on the GL1500.

I didn't see any on his site, but yes, that's what I'm talking about......an aftermarket cylinder head cover guard/bar.

I found these on evil bay.  These are sorta like the ones I'm thinking I've seen somewhere else, but I don't think that these are them.



Does anyone make another version of this one....that doesn't include the big highway/crash bar like this one does?  I'd like to find something that just guards/covers the cylinder head covers if possible.
