If it warms up early I'm going.  A little over two hour ride there from Quincy.
Oh and they're also having a car and bike wash.

11am to 5pm

The first summer I had my CB750 I heard about a Hooters bike show in Charlotte. I figured my ride looked pretty good for her age. (She was a 1974 model and it was about 1999 by then). I looked on the internet and they did have a vintage class, which should include mine.

I got up early to wash and polish that bike. It was glistening. I rode carefully dodging bugs all the way into town. I pulled in and the bike started drawing a crowd. People were struck by the bike that they remembered from their youth. As the crowd gathered around my bike I walked proudly over to the sign-in table.
The Hooters girl asked me a string of questions.

Address:
Class:
Year:
Model:
Then she paused. "I don't see anything that looks like a CB 750 on here. Is it a sporster?"
Uhm. No. It's not a sportster. It's a Honda. "Oh. Well we can't accept those."
The HD shop was sponsoring the event so it was there rules.
I beat the onlookers away from my bike and roared away. I didn't even stay for lunch!

Sometimes you've got to check those things carefully and see who they'll let in.
