header coating for my Viking pipes

  I have had my Viking pipes for a few years now and have ridden
in all kinds of weather.
  I just had them recoated by a company called Jet Hot.
They did a great job for me by removeing all the rust and coating them
with what they call Extream Sterling. I was surprised to find that they also
coat the inside of pipes also. Didnot realize that they did this to prevent
rust and to improve flow of exhaust.
 Now this is not saying that the ceramic coating that was first put on them
was not good but I think maybe just not the best that was out there at the
time.
   All this being said, I am pleased with their work and will have some picts soon.

Dave it is good stuff.

The Trike had this treatment on it's headers up until 4 years ago when i went with the Sanderson Headers for it.

Sanderson also has some inside coating, not sure who, but the header gave the big Chevy about 40# more torgue.  Enough it will lift the front wheel on a off idle stomp about 14 to 20".  Raises hell with fork seals however.

Good to know Shortleg, My Vikings have a couple of small chips after 9 years of use, starting to think it's time to preserve them, my CB 750 needs help also, gonna give them a call.
