Fixing a dented header?
«

Gang: Is it possible (and $$ feasible) to have a dent in a single-walled header pipe professionally repaired? I've got a set of 2 Brothers 6 x 6 exhausts - where one pipe has a ~1/8" flat "rub" on the initial downward bend (where Valk pipes are prone to impact a curb, etc.). Aside from the basic cosmetics, are there any performance issues to be concerned about (if left unfixed)? In advance, thanks a bunch. Terry

shouldnt hurt anything to leave it unfixed.......unless it starts rusting through........fixing may be more $$ than replacing
