Yeah, well, I'm passionate about our house. First winter snow reminded me of why.

She's a gorgeous old lady!

Daniel,

WOW! Beautiful house. It's stunning.

I normally don't like at all the sight of snow, but that's a cool picture.

This was out in front of the house that same day...and probably one reason to not like the snow LOL!

I'm just glad it wasn't me this time...

Yeah, that shot, though interesting, has none of the beauty of the previous pic.

Daniel, she is a sight to be-hold.  ;) Does she have 10` or 12` ceilings. Heating has got to be  :tickedoff: Would love to see her in the "green" time.  ;)

..

Is the turret room functional or just architectural?

Are there other similar houses in your neighborhood?

DIGGER

Yeah.....I really like your home.....that is just awesome.     I love riding throught the country side and seeing those type homes and what the owners are doing with them and how they have them and their out buildings set up.

As far as the guy on the bike...........................he's nuts

Twelve feet. Heating is...problematic...but mainly because there is not a lick of insulation or weatherstripping and all the windows need reglazed.

We're working on that. Once we get the north wind to quit whistling though the doorways heating won't be so bad as long as there are some slow turning ceiling fans about.

It's functional...it's a sitting room off the main bedroom upstairs. Even the glass in the windows is curved.

The town is covered up in big old houses...but the neighborhoods are a mixed bag. Big, small, all intermingled.

Very nice home, we don't see that style down here. Love the turret style room.

She's beautiful Daniel! Especially in the snow that shrouds her mystery. Apprently she has been worth every second you have spent in restoring  her to her former glory. Congratualtions!

There are some gorgeous homes around here that I'd love to buy and fix up.  Thing is, I don't have the time anymore!!

Nice house by the way (a little too much white though!!)

Absolutely beautiful house! If I owned a place like yours, I'd feel the same passion!

I love it, especially that front porch. I can see myself in a few years when I get old and crotchety, sitting on the front porch in a rocking chair....watching the world go by. Probably not with all that "white grass" on the ground though.

Yep. Bought a fixer upper myself. Seem like such a good idea in my youthful 40s. Here in my mid 50s, not so much. I love the house, but man I just can't seem to dedicate the time and money it really needs. I bought the house before I got my first bike. Now I find I'd rather be riding.

Nice looking place!

I don't think you'd be happy in a econobox house...they need as much work, and it doesn't last near as long.
