splines

shredded the spines on my rear wheel yesterday. hopefully I didnt do any damage to the diff. JUST IN CASE....  is there a good used diff around that maybe someone might sell me reasonably?? being I am really poor and all...Thanks.

But I was wondering how your clutch is holding up to all that HP?
Tires, well I'm assuming you just shred those up 1 after the other

Your's is by far the coolest Valk running. Aesthetically and mechanically.

I got my good final drive from pinwall... he's got quite a few more... his good ones are about $300.00,
and he has some older more worn out ones for $99.00.

I've still got my worn out one, but the splines aren't shredded to unusability  yet.

i appriciate your comments.   clutch is a 9 disc lockup racing clutch by pogue. so far, no issues yet (keeping finger crossed.)
front tire wears more than rear because the fat tire pushes the front one so hard in the turns. Makes it harder to turn because of the offset from front to rear.lol
rear tire is doing fine so far, considering.lol I figure ill get 3k out of it if I stay out of the gas.lol

I tore the splines on the wheel apart. inside the diff is ok. just rounded them right off. the plate seems to be all i need but, I might pick up a spare diff and polish it just in case something happens.
That plate that bolts onto the wheel with 5 bolts isnt an expensive piece so, I might have to pick up a few just in case. Anyone had issues with the spline plate getting chewed up instead of the splines in the diff? Its wierd that I tore it up and no damage to the diff. but the diff is all new parts since i made the ring gear and pinion outa titanium. and all other internal parts were brand new. maybe thats why since spline plate was original....
any thoughts?
Ill post some pics when I get back home this evening. see what you guys think of the damage....

The spline plate or male splines are fairly inexpensive as they are the same asthe GoldWing 1500. And they are quite plentiful.

ok, after careful looksy under retical(i put my glasses on) i found out that the splines in the diff and the male splines are fine. had to clean them thoroughly. what happened was, the driveshaft stripped inside the diff. here are pictures. see if you can see if or if you might think it something else. I am just so mad right now, I cant think straight.

You go stressing anything and a weak part will shudder and go boom.........

That is just part of speed and or racing.. 

Been there, done that and have the 'T' shirts to prove it.

ur right RJ, now that I have calmed down, I feel better. Just the guys that put thsi swingarm together made it seem bullet proof. swore by this "design" to be safe to 300 hp. well, it isnt....

no worries. by the weekend I'll be up and running again. This happened at a great tiem tho. Wife thinks Ima gonna kill myself on this one so, she wants me to get another bike so I dont tear this one up. HeeHee, ok, saving money for an IS....

I'm in the process of replacing these 2 parts on my Interstate.

The price of these 2 parts from Honda in Ireland is; Shaft $215 and the cup is $167, total $382 !! 

Have bought the parts from Cycle Parts at a great saving
