I think this is the web site you were looking for.

My apologies if I'm wrong.

i think this brazilian guy (my conclusion from his email ending with .br ),
tries to ask about the starter motor.

i can only show this exploded view.

I forget which bolt it is... #4 I think... you can't get to the one I'm thinking of without a low
profile wrench, so you can hold the lock nut and turn the other nut, without turning
the bolt itself. Turning the head of the bolt I'm thinking of (#4 I think) can destroy the
round black plastic part that is near bolt #4 in the picture... notice that the round black
plastic part has no order number... trash that and your starter is trashed...

Plus (I learned this on my tractor starter) when you pull a starter (like my tractor starter,
and like the Valkyrie starter) apart, stuff goes SPROING and now you need
three hands and strong fingers to get the brushes and their holder-downers back in place.
If you're working on a Valkyrie starter, your strong fingers need to be the size of toothpicks.

I think "departure engine" is way cooler than "starter"! I find something to love more every day about my Valk!

I broke the plastic part that holds the #4 bolt on my Honda Foreman Rubicon. I used Quick Steel to replace the plastic. Worked GREAT!  :cooldude:
