If I did the nutcage mod would I be able to go darkside with a Progressive 412 suspension?

I put on a 60 series car tire, had rubbing. Did the nut cage
mod., no more rubbing.
Tried the 412's next and had immediate bottoming-out issue.
I'm 210 lbs, not too much lard, but I couldn't take the
sound and thud on bumps.
I put the oem shocks back on, no more bottoming.

I have a 55 series, installed the 412's, no problem, also pull a camper trailer, no problem.

I have the 205/60 TT
Orignal shocks on I/S, my weight 180. No contact with me.
There was bumping even with the nutcage removed when my wife was with me.
I now have progressive shocks with HD springs - no problem.
Yes it is a little firmer but it matches the progressive springs in the forks. The bike handles much better now.
Hope this helps. Smiley
