Ride to eat?

Lots of posts here about riding with a Meal Mission - I have been talking with a lady we know in Clanton who, at the ripe old middle age of 56, is seriously considering her first motorcycle experience ever, by buying a GW trike from a lady in her church, where several of them have a riding club.  My best advice was for her to ride passenger with someone she trusts, and as it turned out that happened this morning, with her on the back of the very trike she is considering, with the present owner at the controls.  She said the only scary thing about the ride was how much fun she had!
Anyway, the trike owner said there would be a longer ride this evening, when several of them will ride up to just north of Calera for dinner.  She is going with them, and looking forward to it, but her comment was "I have heard you and Conrad talking.  These folks do ride for food, don't they?"

Different folks; different strokes.  When I'm on a real ride I have to remind myself to eat (among other things).   It only happens when I ride.

Sometimes on a long ride I forget to eat although my wife is always ready to remind me.
Occasionally we ride to eat. Today, we took a short ride to meet some friends for desert. The ride there and back could have taken 20 miles, we took a wandering path that was just under 100. We had had a good breakfast, so we split a desert while our friends had lunch. It was a good time to plan the spring rides.
