I am now official - registered and everything.  Check going out in the mail for registration fee and got a room at the lodge (Doug, you can cancel yours - thanks though bro).

Well, instead of the Blue/Gray - looks like THIS is going to be my official VRCC ride for the year!!

See everyone on top of the mountain.  Man, this is going to be a hoot - been a few years since I could really DIG Cheaha.  Last time I went I found out that my father had passed when I was at Winghot's on the way to Cheaha.  (In fact, it was the day of this video).  My brother told me to continue on since I was with the best support group in the world but I wasn't myself during the rally.

Well, I will be myself this time!

And for people going to Barbers - very cool place.  We ain't going to get down over no stinkin' rain - AHHHH, the "PARTY IN THE STAIRWELL" - remember it well.

And the ride home - that was the year the cloud covered the top of the mountain and it turned out to be a cold ride home - but worth every mile!
