HID Headlight Kit

 I am looking at getting a HID headlight bulb kit for the Valk.
Has anyone tried these?
I has been thru a lot of different types of bulbs trying to get some good night time light.
Now I'm looking at the HID's.
Suggestions?

I bought the "Custom Dynamics" HID headlight for the valk but haven't installed it yet. I do have the same kit on a VTX and love it.

It was around $150.00 with shipping. There are cheaper companies, but be careful to get HID high and low beam. Some less expensive models only have HID low beam with Halogen high beam.

The first night I tried the high beam, I couldn't believe how bright it was. I have never been warned by on coming traffic that it is too bright. Make sure you adjust your light after the change.

If your not in a GIANT hurry then just hang tight and I will have all my projects done shortly and will be giving ride reports on all the things I have done. For a starter point check out my "Multipoint maintenance and upgrade" thread oh and the set I have installed (on an Interstate) have High &Low Beams and only pull 35watts in the back yard testing they look very bright and I compared side by side with a set of PIAA intense White bulbs that were awesome in my opinion.
