This is a little different, at least I have not read anything like this on the site.  '03 standard, desmoged done pingle.. I am hearing some slight popping at times.  When I turned her off tonight after a short ride I heard a whistle, just for a short one.  I have not heard this before.  Any ideas what to check?  Thanks guys.

Or something that needs to have a bigger vacuum leak. Like maybe a vent line from the tank or the vent from the carb banks.

I dunno just thinking have seen this on vent systems on newer cars gas caps.

I would have to say it is related to the paint job. If it is fast black, look for a nearby neighbor just showin some appreciation for yer ride......People always whistle at the pretty ones... How's that for a touch of smart a## answer. Guess I am not much help today..The good news...It's a Valk..no matter what it does, It does it better than any other ride.

Do you think it could be the seat decompressing?
