Hello Valkyrie people
My 98 has ben showing me the temp light at odd times off and on and, not on at all for a day or two.
Has any one had this kind of an isue before?  Thank you

Mikey

My temp light comes on when I hit the rev limiter... That's the only time I've had mine come on.
Remember folks, street lights timed for 35 mph are also timed for 70 mph

Look for a fraid <(sp) wire or a bad connection.

If neither of those, then I'd test the switch out and see if it is trying to head South on ya.

I had that happen as well. It's a bad module under the left side cover behind the coolant bottle. Give me a few minutes to look it up in the Tech Archives and I will post back here with the part number that you need.      :cooldude:

O.K. I found it. Replacing this module fixed my problem. It's behind the left side cover behind the coolant bottle. Check the Tech Archives and search for a post by RP#62 for Coolant problem.

Its listed as 38710-MZ0-003
