Anyone know of any sales starting on heated jackets and gloves. And most preferred brand? Also maybe what to look out for. Looking for t-stat type and to plug in trickle charger pigtail. I.m not that familiar with them. Have some buds that have the gerber and firstgear.

I have Gerbing's, I think they work fine... I don't know what model of gloves I got, but I wish they came up
my arms a little longer, it is kind of hard to tuck the sleeves of my jacket into the gloves, if it is cold enough to
put on heated gloves you probably don't want cold air blowing up your sleeves...

I have a vest too (Aerostich), and run them both through a Gerbing temperature controller to keep from getting
too hot...

Gerbings have a really good name.  Somebody just posted about Tour Master heated gear and the first few responses are favorable.

Check out here for discounted heated clothing:

+1 on Gerbings, but good luck ever finding it on sale.  Ya just have to bite the bullet and pay retail.  I bought most of mine online, until I found that the local Harley dealer carries the full line at the same price.  As far as the link to the online outlet store, they have good prices, but a lot of their items are the previous generation Gerbings.  Better to spend the extra $$ for the microwire stuff, IMO.

I have a warm and safe generation 4 jacket liner, but no gloves yet. I think it's a great liner, came for a reasonable price compared to Gerbings, and is made in the USA.

i have the Tourmaster Synergy jacket liner and gloves. The controller comes with the liner. Gloves plug into sleeves; easier than their vest which requires a lot of harness run up your arm across shoulder and down other arm. The heated liner needs to fit close to your body, if it is too large and loose it won't give the warmth like you would want. This is my second winter using it, wish i had bought one several years earlier, where I live now we have more cold days than previous abode. Not saying this is THE brand to get, just the one i chose, they probably all do a good job.

I'm using a Warm N Safe jacket liner.

A few things to consider,

Wattage, I bought a 90 watt liner because I live in So Cal and don't need much heat, I think I'd get more power next time.

Controller, I went with a portable controller so I could use it on what ever bike I was  riding that day, The portable controller is a pain in the ass as it's never mounted securely.

A coaxial power connector is the connection of choice, I don't know why but it seems to work better then the pig tail. Just my 2 cents.

I am struggling with the new socks Gerbing sells versus the inner sole.

Inner sole is $59 dollars and the socks are $89 and claim top and bottom heating and they are high. Hmm... any input on this?
