I see on the Systron-Motosen site they list Valks until 98 with green lighting and 99+ with orange lighting. Is this an across the border thing or do I have an early 99 still with green? Of course I want orange !!!!

I do work with CNC punching/forming sst, alum, cop, brz and brass and may come up with a panel if I don't like using brackets.

any pics of your mounts would be great, It may be against all the ideals, but it drives me crazy without a clock.I don't care what time it is unless I have to get somewhere before they close, and that happened every time I rode last year.

thanks for any clarity

Can't tell you exactly when Honda made the lighting change over on the instrumentation...

As far as mounting and the gauges themselves...here is what I did using all Motosen's mounting hardware:

On my 97 Standard - http://www.valkyrieguy.com/motosens.htm

On my 99 I/S - http://www.valkyrieforum.com/bbs/index.php/topic,4025.msg28232.html#msg28232

I went with white lighting on both sets of gauges. From what I saw in pictures on the Motosen's website... either the green or orange lighting looked too "dark" I guess, or maybe "intense" is a better word... I don't know. Either way I think the straight white lighting looks the best.

I am putting a set on my wife's 03 Standard Trike (we get it in about 3 weeks) sometime this summer. I think the Motosens are the cat's arse when it comes to accessories on the Valk.
