I just got off the phone with the son's owner and said that he brought it over to his house and that was the picture when they were moving stuff from his dad's house. 

I am going to go ride up on monday and look at the bike and see just what kind of condition it is in.  Maybe I can get him down to a good price and find a buyer   Me :/  eh    probably not.  I have two and realize I don't have time for two bikes! 

Anyhow, I will report back.  I also gave him my phone number to give to any VRCC member that is interested and IF a fellow VRCC member buys it out of state.  I can help with giving you a place to stay and a ride from the airport in Kansas City.  If someone on here does get the itch and buys it....   Sure is a pretty color, I agree Marty!  I wish that mine was that color but I will settle with "Fast Black"!

I stopped in on the way from hosers to my home.  It looks good.  It was outside for a bit, under a bike cover.  It has E3 tires, probably 60% on rear, 80% on front or better.  Paint is just dirty, cleans up good.  A good wash and wax will do wonders.  It has one blemish, a 1/2 dollar size scrape on the fairing, just in front on the front brake lever.  I understand he hit something in the yard.  It is just scratched up, no damage to the fairing itself.  Not a big project at all for a painter.

He has now put in a new battery, and will put gas in it.  He said they had it going earlier in the year.  At most, it will have slow jet problems.  If I was in the market, I would be looking hard.  The shiny parts are NOT corroded.  There are aftermarket pass. boards, and they ARE bad, chrome all peeled.  Just need new ones.

It has a Saddleman seat, and the OEM.  Chrome driveshaft cover, chrome trailer hitch and has wiring. Needs fluids changed, dark.

i've been watching that same cycle on ebay.  seems that the guy sold an '85 aspercade for $990!!  i would assume that his father has passed away. 

definetly needs a good cleaning, who ever gets it had better change all the fluids before even trying to turn that thing over!!  put a couple squirts of oil in each cylinder, empty the carb bowls, etc, etc....

there was a cycle with the same color sell on craigslist from spooner wisconsin just two months or so ago.....  they're out there!!
