when a "new member" comes on board they might get 5 or 6 "welcome`s" unless it is a person of "FEMALE" type. Then they get 3,000 welcome`s . What does that mean ???  Do we tend to favor the other SEX ?  I`m just saying.  ;)

HA!  I noticed that, too - but didn't say anything.

HMMMMMMMMM  let me think about that.......YES
.....say to those with fearful hearts, "Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, he will come with vengeance; with divine retribution he will come to save you."
Isaiah 35:4

I know who wins in the end.

Testosterone may be diminished in older gentlemen..... but it has not disappeared entirely.

Spirited-6....Don, did you see that? At least he referred to us as gentlemen.   :2funny:

Just yanking your chain Jess. Most likely has something to do with the interest that males(well....most males) have had in the fairer sex since the beginning of time.  :cooldude:

John, let's be clear...... I included myself in that 'older gentlemen' comment.

Being newly single again in my late 50s, I am actually quite happy with diminished testosterone.  From here on out, it will be the big head making all the decisions......... not like in my youth, when the little head held all power over good judgment and common sense.

I was newly single at age 50....1988, so I know what you mean. The first time around I was chasing bobby sox in the mid-early 50's. When I returned to the single status after 31 yrs. of marriage....whoa....what a change. Not sure I liked it either, most were too brazen for my likeing. After a few years of some dating, I met my present wife. She's only a year younger so had much the same thoughts about male/female relationships. We dated for 4 1/2 yrs. and decided to "elope" as she put it to the kids on both sides. The big surprise to the younger set....we never lived together prior to marrying. Most just shake their heads in disbelief.

Jess, would tell how you got that done ! I think several here would like to know your secret.

I`ll try anything once and if I like it I`ll try it again.  ;)

I`m really kidding, my best girl and I have been married 39 years this June and I would be lost with out her.. never knew how much a person could mean to me after being married 19 years to another person. Not that it was bad, just some people click and some don`t.

Well, no matter what the reason (all testosterone jokes aside) I for one appreciate all the good wishes and welcomes, ya'll.  Makes the "newbie" feel well accepted and it's great to know that I can count on you guys to help me through my novice stage. I'm getting so anxious to go on a "real" ride! All this  in-the-city putting around is frustrating,  :o but I know I have to learn it all before I merit the GOOD STUFF.
