Breakaway cruise control on Interstate

Having trouble installing this on my Interstate. Anyone have this on there I/S and if you do, did you have any problems. As soon as I hook it to the brake bolt, the throttle binds up. I have adjusted, tinkered and played with it for over an hour and a half. Keeps hitting the throttle cable housing. Can't move that but have rotated the brake lever but still binds. Help please, Brett
