Just found out I need a new cap. The rubber seal is torn. It looks like the one from a gold wing of the same years will fit, also the part numbers are the same. I can't believe it's worth 32. dollars at local dealer is there something else that will fit. I ride this bike everyday  so I don't what to wait for long to order online HDL price is 25 bucks. TIA

Don't know what else would fit but I was looking at one for my Yamaha Tour Deluxe the other day and it was the same price.

I think it is about 32mm. You might measure it or take it to your local auto parts place and compare side by side.

That's about what I gave for a chrome one.  The quality doesn't seem as good as OEM but it's chrome so I'll try it.  How important is that PITA set screw?

Mine has the chrome cap. Didn't know there was a set screw until now.

Thanks to all of ya'll for the help. BnB Tom thanks for all the options. I'm picking up a stock one for a 92 accord today on the way home from work. I order this one because I like the look of it but it won't be here for three days. The two togeter was still less than the stock . replacement.http://www.autozone.com/autozone/accessories/Spectre-14-to-18-lbs-pressure-rating-chrome-billet-radiator-cap/_/N-261t?counter=1&filterByKeyWord=radiator+cap&fromString=search&itemIdentifier=536831_0_0_

My gasket started leaking a couple of years ago, I didn't want to pay $30 for a new cap either.

I carried the cap into Autozone and matched it up with an automotive cap that fit for about $7.

That cap couldn't handle the pressure, it leaked around the flip top, So I took the gasket from it and put it on the Valkyrie cap and it's been doing fine.
